DC Greens manages a listserv of over 300 teachers that provides a forum for best practice and resource sharing. Find out about upcoming meetings, trainings, share resources, and order seedlings for your school garden. Also receive our monthly newsletter. Sign up for the listserv here

Chesapeake Region Farm-Based Educators:

This group is managed by DC Greens and designed to strengthen the network of farm-based educators in the Chesapeake Region (PA, VA, MD, DC) by creating a forum for information and resource dissemination, peer communication and connection, and best practice sharing. DC Farm to School Network

DC Greens is the Core Partner for the National Farm to School Network. We host quarterly stakeholder gatherings to advance the farm to school movement in the District. For more information on how to get involved, contact Lea Howe, lea@dcgreens.org.

Annual Regional School Garden Summit:

The goal of the Summit is to nurture the emerging tri-state network of nonprofits, schools, and government agencies interested in capacity and network building around school gardens by providing a space to learn, share best practices and make new connections. This year’s summit is October 13th.
